In this episode, Simon Phillips interviews Dan Newman, founder of Baldilocks, an organisation focused on helping individuals to overcome the pain of trauma and social anxiety they experience when they suffer from Alopecia.
Dan shares his own story of Alopecia and the violent assault that accelerated the effects in his 20's. He then, with great humour and personal insight, describes his journey through the process up to the point where he spotted an opportunity to help people "get their confidence back". Establishing venues which are willing to take an empathetic approach to clients with Alopecia at barber shops and spas is just the start of the Baldilocks mission.
