Today we're exploring the practice of yoga nidra. What it is, how it benefits us and how to craft your resolution so that it is effective.
In yoga nidra we do not actually go to sleep but instead teeter on the very edge of it. In fact you’ll hear me say “remember no sleeping” as I guide students in yoga nidra. It is the state between wakefulness and dream. This state is where the mind and mental awareness are dissociated from the sensory channels. Through this practice we are relaxing but we are also restructuring and reforming our whole personality from within. We burn old patterns of behaviors to begin anew.
