Everybody has their own story, and their own unique relationship with the life that they live.

Each week on the Copinghagen podcast, we meet somebody who has experienced the feeling of being an outsider. We talk about their lives, the obstacles they’ve encountered, and most importantly, how they learned to cope.
" My journey with bipolar disorder began in my early twenties. It was a confusing and challenging time. I didn't fully understand what was happening to me. I had these intense mood swings, moments of extreme elation followed by deep lows. It was like riding a rollercoaster with no control.
When I finally received the diagnosis, it was both a relief and a heavy realization. It meant I wasn't alone in my struggles, and there was a name for what I was experiencing. But it also meant a lifetime of managing this condition. Before the diagnosis, life was like trying to navigate a stormy sea without a compass. I had moments of joy and achievement, but they were often overshadowed by the darkness of depression. It was a constant battle."
This week on the Copinghagen podcast you can meet a woman in her late thirties, originally from a small town in the Midwest, who talks about her journey of coping with bipolar disorder and postpartum depression while navigating the challenges of becoming a new mother. It's been a tough road for her, but she hopes that by sharing her experiences, she can offer some hope and inspiration to others who might be going through similar struggles. Yet despite all the experiences she shares, she doesn’t actually exist…

The woman in question is the result of an interview conducted between Patrick Cullen, host of the Copinghagen podcast, and Chat GPT. Chat GPT was asked to imagine itself to be "a real living human, whose story should include defining experiences of feeling outside society."
Her interview answers were then narrated by an AI voice created using Elevenlabs.io, while the episode artwork was made using Nightcafe, with a prompt she chose herself...
"Create an image of a woman, once overwhelmed by bipolar & postpartum depression, now embracing motherhood."
