I have something to admit to you gluten free fam: up until recently - I missed oats. I missed having porridge for breakfast. It was quick, easy & no mucking around. Unfortunately oats can’t be deemed gluten free in Australia - this may change soon so stay tuned. So until that happens Aussies with coeliac or who are gluten free for other reasons might be looking for alternatives. I’m constantly asked “where can I find some decent gluten free granola or porridge that doesn’t taste bad or have a million ingredients in them” - my answer: Bask & Co.
Today I’m joined by the founder to talk about running a successful small business in the gluten free community & what it’s actually like to start from very humble grassroots beginnings to now being stocked on supermarket shelves nationally. When you have passion, purpose & persistence it’s amazing what you can achieve & my guest does this everyday around the clock & the gluten free community is obsessed (including me).
