Wes Watson is an inspirational speaker, fitness trainer, an ex-convict.

Watson grew up in San Diego, California, where he enjoyed skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding before becoming engaged in the marijuana trade. This set off a downhill spiral that finally resulted in Wes being sentenced to ten years in the Californian prison system.

Following his release, he founded Watson Fit, an organization dedicated to releasing individuals from their mental prisons and helping them achieve their fitness objectives. Watson's YouTube channel, GP Penitentiary Life, has amassed hundreds of thousands of subscribers who are fascinated by his detailed and gory accounts of life within the prison system.

Most of us think of jail as a place where individuals end up after their life goals fail. We see it as the end of a story, not the beginning.

But it doesn't have to be.

For Wes Watson in California, the prison was the place where he developed himself. He transformed into a person who inspires millions through his YouTube channel full of life lessons as well as fitness training tips.

Most motivational speakers emphasize the necessity of setting goals, such as physical health. However, as Wes emphasizes, a character is required before those objectives can be achieved.

Your character serves as the basis for all you accomplish. You may have the best intentions in the world, but if you lack the discipline to carry them through, your plans will fail.

As Wes himself shows, you can build your character any time and anywhere, even in prison.

Today, Wes reveals the mindsets and vices that are keeping us stuck. He also teaches us how to be self-disciplined, uses positive self-talk, and commit to behaviors that will transform us into the men, husbands, and fathers we want to become.

Check out this episode with Wes Watson as he talks about his journey from the penitentiary to personal development and shares his mission to help you succeed and master the areas of life you’re aiming to build up.
