Gina, who adopted two sisters, has faced years of heartache with one of her daughters. Jack’s adopted a baby, who had been born in prison, where his birth mother was serving a sentence for arson.
At the end of the episode, Gerad is joined by Leon who was adopted at the age of 7 along with his sister. His story is one of heartbreak, resilience, courage and gratitude. It is incredible one person can overcome so much loss in a short life.
