In this 7th episode of The Lavender Fix podcast I interview Sydney Weymouth: a New York based Social Media & Creative Strategist who manages the digital footprint of award winning personalities like Daymond John & Catherine Zeta-Jones, as well as countless brands ranging from skincare to hospitality.
In the September of 2018, Sydney woke up in her New York apartment one morning & as she saw herself in the mirror right across from her bed, she noticed a bald spot on her head. Assuming that it was because the light hitting her from an odd angle, she dismissed it at first, only to be diagnosed with Alopecia Areata much later. What is Alopecia? Alopecia Areata is a skin disorder that causes hair loss, usually in patches, most often on the scalp. Goes without saying that losing a part of yourself like that can cause severe emotional distress which oftentimes can be incredibly hard to manage.
