We are diving into Part One of Season 2..."The Seven Deadly Sins"....and we begin with "PRIDE"
I want to ask you, "have you ever been in a conversation with someone and it turns out that you are NOT having a conversation BUT that you have become an audience member?"...LOL. That has happened to me so many times. And, you THEN find yourself standing there and just stuck for minutes on end that seem like an hour of listening to that SAME someone talk about themselves and more about themselves. And.... they get you to AGREE that what they are saying about themselves is "REMARKABLE," "TRUE," AND..."FASCINATING AND MAGICAL!" And, THEN you find yourself promoting that person as an exist strategy to get out of that conversation. BUT, that fails...UGH! Yes, these are "Energy Vampires"...draining your daily battery...slurping away your vitality. And, when they finally walk away from you they are so filled up with positivity leaving you abandoned with your feelings and emotions totally depleted of all your electrolytes...and here is another... AND...YOU ARE PROBABLY UPSET TOO!
This is what happens when you have a "run-in" with a prideful person...this "Pride" working at its very best. So, we are going to talk about why those "Energy Vampires" do that and how they are shaping their reality that they live in with your words that they get you to SAY and ACT by....this is powerful because our words and what we say can shape the reality we live in. Let's explore why....here we go.
