Episode Summary

Welcome back to the show!

I had the chance to interview Dr. Chris Lee – neuroscientist and mental health expert.

We spoke about burnout, stress, self-care and well-being strategies. He’s a fast talker, but grab a notepad, and take some notes!

In This Episode

Take us back to the beginning. Did you always know you wanted to study neuroscience and stress management

You speak openly about your own trauma. Have you helped yourself heal? What were key strategies and helpful tools? What has healing from your trauma talk you about yourself?

Let’s talk morning and evening routine - they have so much to do with wellness. Do you have a morning routine?

You speak a lot about journaling. As you know I have new journal, LIST YOUR GOALS JOURNAL. Why is journaling so powerful for you?

We have to talk self-care. I love that you speak so open and freely about self-care - something that is typical discussed more around women. Why is self-care so important?

Would love to talk mental health and break it down - Self, relationships, kids, and our career.

  1. Let’s start with the self What are 3 things we can do when we feel overwhelmed or anxious, or like we’re encroaching burnout , which is the reality for many around the globe.
  2. Let’s move onto marriage and relationships. How can couples keep the peace and manage stress? How can we make it work during these times?
  3. Let's talk about mental health and our kids
  4. Let’s move onto to work. Can you share some work from home mental health tips. How can we create healthy boundaries around work

Share some tips for joyful living during a difficult time.
