In this podcast I interview Dr. Chris Bundy, M.D., MPH, FASAM, the Medical Director for the Washington State Physician's Health Program, and immediate Past President of the Federation of Physician Health Programs in the United States. Dr. Bundy discusses what a physician's health program is, and the benefits to the physician as well as to the community. We also discuss mindfulness and meditation in recovery, which is proven to not only help one's sense of wellbeing, but it also helps rewire the addicted brain to help reduce relapse and promote a profound sense of self awareness and service toward others.
