Welcome back to the show, mama! We're continuing our conversation around ways to support your child's overall health that won't perpetuate diet culture into another generation. When it comes to feeding kids, diet culture overemphasizes what our kids "should" be eating - promoting the idea that if kids just eat the "right" foods, like tons of veggies, then they're guaranteed to be healthy. However, nothing could be further from the truth. This idea only makes feeding more stressful than it needs to be. In reality, your child's health and well-being is shaped by a variety of factors. Listen in to the episode as Crystal shares some practical ways to support your child's healthy relationship with food and their bodies while shifting away from traditional diet culture practices.
