In this episode, we interview Asya Brodsky, a licensed clinical social worker and Certified Sex Therapist (and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) who has a private practice in Illinois. Asya has spent her career studying and working with the LGBTQIA+ community, veteran sexual health, sexuality and sexual trauma. She has provided presentations, trainings and has been interviewed for topics including sexual health, eroticism in psychotherapy, and therapeutic interventions for trauma survivors. We ask her hard hitting questions (like what is/is not sex therapy and what do most people come in to discuss) and do a deep dive into all things sex therapy.
