Inspired by the athletes of the 2024 Paris Olympics, and one who truly inspired me in the realm of mental health recovery, Noah Lyles, I share the golden lessons learned over my month break from the podcast, and what all these athletes have in common that contribute to their greatness.
It has been scientifically proven that trauma can neurologically alter the brain, which keeps one in a constant state of hypervigilance or "fight or flight", and also may block the brain's ability to form new memories, which triggers vivid memories of the trauma they experienced.
