Sports Scientist and founder of MovEvo Michael Omann graduated in both Sports Science & Business Administration from Karl Franzens University in Graz. Prior to opening his own company, he was the Head of Sports and Movement Therapy at the world-renowned VIVAMAYR Health Resorts.
His Movement Mission Mantra “Use it or Lose it” demonstrates how if we live against our nature and do not use our full capacities, we will lose it!
Michael say’s “That we are constantly adapting to what we do. If we spent our whole day sitting, we adapt to sitting and our physical and mental capacity degenerates. If we fulfil our evolutionary heritage, we develop as human beings and come closer to our full potential”.
His credo for life is to be curious, open minded for new challenges and ready to leave the comfort zone to develop further. He lives that attitude when he spends time in the mountains hiking & climbing in the summer, and skiing in winter. In the PODCAST you will listen to him share how he loves to play – another human ability which is missing in most of our modern lives. The undeveloped paths are attracting him constantly and being in nature he reenergizes and connects to his inner self.
