While Hollywood may portray an openness about sex all the time, as therapists in clinical practice, we've learned that behind closed doors, many couples and individuals find talking about sex actually pretty uncomfortable. So what makes talking about sex so uncomfortable and how does this impact relationships and the quality of sex couples are able to have?
