This week my guests are Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce 2022 Young Professional Athena Leadership Award Finalists.
The Young Professional finalists are:

• Devin Carrick – Older Girl Program Specialist for the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore
• Dawn Doherty – Executive Director of the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide
• Rachel Mitzelman – Paramedic and Field Training Office for Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health
• Stephanie Toal – Marketing & Communications Coordinator for OceanFirst Foundation

We are joined by Ivy Jacot who is the Co-Chair of the Athena Leadership program for the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce.

These amazing women under 40 are doing incredible work in their communities and beyond.
The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented by chambers of commerce, women’s organizations and universities to a woman, or man, who demonstrates the qualities embodied in the ATHENA Leadership Model and who:

• Has achieved the highest level of professional excellence.
• Contributes time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
• Actively assists others, particularly women, in realizing their full leadership potential.

In this episode you will hear more about the incredible work each finalist is doing in their own community and how it is creating a ripple effect. We discuss how each finalist is lifting and helping other women rise. They also share an obstacle they had to overcome that will teach others on their own journey.

Listen in to the footprint they are all creating now that they want to leave behind.
Congratulations to all these incredible finalists. They are all worthy of this prestigious award. I am honored to have received this recognition in 2022. Kristina Henderson received the Young Professional Athena Leadership Award that year as well.
