In my most recent episode I discussed how grateful I am for the beautiful nurse coaches I’ve bonded with during this past year.
The confidence I’ve gained in my own business coaching group has helped me realize how important our communities are when it comes to our confidence.
As a new mother and baby nurse, I struggled because I didn’t have a strong, supportive community I felt I could lean on, leaving me to mimic the behaviors I had witnessed growing up or saw on a daily basis in the operating room.
When I eventually identified who I wanted to be as a mother and nurse, there was conflict with those individuals I’d previously admired. It has been through my group space I have found my clarity as a nurse coach and developed the confidence to start building similar programs for other peri-op staff and mothers.
Imagine being part of a group offering a safe space in which you can share your deepest fears, discuss your toughest struggles and begin to work through the obstacles keeping you from moving forward in life. What would it feel like to be surrounded with like minded individuals, committed to your growth & development? What would it look like to be free from judgement and know your community has your back?
