Dr. Emily Oestreich is a physiology professor and Assistant Dean of preclinical education at PNWU. She discusses her personal experience with anxiety and panic attacks. She describes a specific instance of agoraphobia where she had a panic attack in a crowded area. She outlines the physiology surrounding anxiety, and how to mitigate against this with meditation.
