Keanah Smith joined the Western Michigan athletic department in August of 2018 as the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator. Smith joined the Broncos from the Mountain West Conference, where she held the role of Senior Associate Commissioner since March 2016. While at the Mountain West, she was a member of the conference's senior leadership team and served as the primary administrator for the league's overall championships operation. She also was the primary liaison to three senior level groups: Senior Woman Administrators, Athletic Director's Competition Committee and Board of Directors Competition, and the Sportsmanship and Ethics Committee.
