This is the story from George Fielding, bariatric legend from Brisbane and more lately New York. He describes how it all started for him and his travels from Australia to, Scotland, England and Switzerland before establishing himself back in Australia as a pioneer of the Lap Band. Having inserted 1000's he then had one himself more than 2 decades ago. Just when life seemed all too good, a series of brushes with mortality have led him to a place of happiness in life and only interested in living every day to the fullest.
