Promise: Communion
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Prayer Request
Do you ever feel challenged by your intuition? Recognizing you have a gut feeling of a situation or circumstance but willingly choose to look the other way, in hopes of being wrong? This is how we often treat God. Knowing what our Lord asks of us yet doing our best to take things out of context in hopes of making it fit our desires. Take some time to write out a moment where you wanted so badly, for something to work in a specific way, even though you knew it was not meant for you nor good for you. If it would have worked out that way, where do you think your relationship with God would be? Ask our Father to bless you with insight on why that situation was not meant for you and help provide understanding. What could the understanding God has given you now, have brought to that prior situation?
