This is exactly what this episode is about. Paula asks Leila questions about the Women’s movement in Iran, the people, the culture, and the food. A unique opportunity to hear a local's perspective.
Leila is a talented home cook, mother, artist, Host with In My Kitchen and owner of Saffron Catering. Leila is an open book and very generous in what she shares, from her perspective of the future of Iran, to the signature dish of Rasht, life growing up in Rasht and what it is like now.
In this episode Leila introduces us to the signature dish of Rasht: Baghali Ghatough (fava bean stew), Leila will share with you how you can help the women and people of Iran as they fight for change and you will get an insider’s perspective on what to expect if you ever have the chance to travel to Rasht.
