One of the most fantastic things about growing up is finding the people who share your passions and interests, who geek out like you geek out, who you can discuss backstories and timelines and theories on characters that helped keep you going when you needed them most. Who can listen to your ideas and solemnly or emphatically nod and say, “Head cannon accepted.”
And if we are living our lives well, we all grew into heroes, villains, sidekicks, quest givers, and the background characters moving someone else’s story forward.
