"Why would you bring the trauma to the surface if someone remembers their birth without trauma?"
My husband asked me this. My answer was "I don't just go around telling everyone they have birth trauma! When someone has PPA/PPD or bonding issues, it is most likely related to how they birthed that baby and to help them process THAT I have to get to where the body is storing the trauma and what caused it."
I almost erased this episode right after recording it, but NO... I want to always be real with you guys and if my ADD is all over the place I will keep it. There are many things I touch on because I have been doing a LOT of trauma processing lately with women in all stages. So many things I wanted to touch on.
Mainly, the body remembers even if you don't. So to regulate your nervous system you need to shed any negative experiences your body experienced.
