This episode discusses how culturally sustaining nature and land-based experiences can support positive identity development and support our nervous system. We cover some of the ways that nature-based programs can incorporate trauma-informed care principles and include culturally sustaining practices. Our guests for this episode are 14-year-old Arwen, a youth participant at the Environmental Youth Alliance, and their program director Erica.
