Inspiration changed everything for me as a designer. Initially, I created pieces because I needed them, but it wasn’t until I started using specific sources of inspiration—like books and nature—that my creativity truly flourished.

In this short episode, I walk you through how I get ideas flowing in no-time. I discuss four practical tips you can apply right this moment.

And to help you even more, I’ve created a guide with over 100 sources of inspiration. Sign up for the newsletter to receive it for free, along with access to our crochet design library filled with helpful resources.

How were the holidays for you? I don't know about you, but I just love the Christmas holidays. I always come back a different person. Being able to fully relax and connect back to myself and my fam. To also really disconnect from the day-to-day and all of those to-do lists that come with that. So maybe not a different person, just a person that's closer to her true nature. I just released a new podcast episode that I'm really excited to share with you. Because I did A LOT of reflecting, journalling and envisioning (is that even a verb?) and I have made a drastic decision that will impact how I will move forward with Christina Crochet Coach. PS: I love to connect! So after the episode, let me know your thoughts on this. Loved what you heared? Let's stay connected! In this episode, I open up about my journey with hosting crochet-alongs, including some hard lessons I learned when I first started. I just wrapped up hosting my 8-week "Overstory" crochet-along, and the experience was absolutely amazing. It got me thinking about how crochet-alongs have completely transformed my design journey, and they might do the same for you. The mistakes I made in my first CAL taught me so much, and now I want to share these lessons with you. This episode is perfect for you if: You're a crochet designer (or thinking about becoming one) You want to build a stronger connection with your crochet community You're looking for ways to grow your following and pattern sales You're interested in hosting your own crochet-along but feeling unsure about where to start You want to create events that people actually look forward to joining I share some of my best practices for hosting successful crochet-alongs, and I've got a special surprise for my listeners - but you'll have to tune in to find out what it is! One thing I will say: there's a lot more to hosting a great crochet-along than just cutting up a pattern into pieces and slapping a discount on it. I'll tell you why, and what you should do instead. Grab your favorite WIP (work in progress), your beverage of choice, and join me for this relaxed but information-packed episode. Wanna know more about the toolkits that will make it fun to actually get your designs seen and put you on the map as a crochet designer? Follow the links below! This led her to create Crochepeutic, which is all about building a community for crocheters.
