We are blessed to hear from Andrea Menard today as she weaves wisdom from the Metis tradition of her grandmothers into a powerful message about receiving and using your gifts with humility and grace. We discuss the power of feeling our emotions to clear the channel we have to our higher guidance and how Indigenous leaders have turned towards this time of the rise of the feminine and the healing that can come from mothering and nurturing ourselves so that we can be joyfully led to our highest potential.

About the Guest:

Andrea Menard is a highly talented Métis singer/songwriter, actor, speaker, and wellness trainer who has gained immense recognition for her work as an influencer in Feminine leadership. She is the founder of the Sacred Feminine Learning Lodge and has been named one of the Women Executive Network's Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners in 2020. Andrea trains women to "Lead Like a Goddess" and helps people of all genders to reclaim and embody the qualities of the Sacred Feminine. She is the author of the Seeds from the Sacred Feminine Wisdom Cards, set to release with Mango Publishing on May 9th, 2023.

Andrea is also an accomplished actress, having been nominated for five Gemini awards and named ACTRA National's Woman of the Year in 2021. She has released five award-winning albums, including a Michif language album, a symphony show, and two television programs. Andrea's TEDx Talk called "Silent No More" has over 128,000 views.

Born in Manitoba, Andrea is a proud member of the Metis Nation of Canada, and her Metis family originates from St. Laurent, Manitoba (Treaty 1) and then settled in the interlakes region of Treaty 2 territory. Her Nehiyewan name is Notigwew Yutin, meaning Grandmother Wind, and her Anishinaabemowin name is Skooteah Equahh, meaning Fire Woman. Andrea has performed for various dignitaries and groups, including residential school survivors, families of the missing and murdered Indigenous women, and the world's NATO generals, singing her song "Peace."
