Vanessa graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002. Shortly after starting her own law practice in 2012, she was named to the Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars. She has been recognized as one of the elite family law attorneys in Miami and has been named to the “Super Lawyers List” every year since 2016.

Vanessa currently serves as the President of the Coral Gables Bar Association and on the Board of the Miami Dade County Bar Association. She has been featured multiple times on Univision’s Despierta America, the No. 1 national morning show on Spanish language television that has been running for more than two decades.
