Rita Erlich, our culinary editor, is an experienced Melbourne-based journalist who is best known for her work as co-editor of The Age Good Food Guide for many years. Rita has authored and edited a number of books and was among the initial team of journalists who worked on our show. She has not only produced her own stories but co-hosted the show during and after the COVID pandemic when the city’s extended lockdown meant we had to operate from separate studios using technology developed for the BBC to bring the voices seamlessly together in high-definition audio from different sides of the city.
