Hey friend! Have you been caught up in the cycle of following trends? I know I have been stuck in this cycle before. One day you're scrolling through Pinterest..drooling over all of the beautiful homes, so perfectly styled and curated.
Then you look around your home and quietly decide that your house isn't up to par? So you get rid of everything you own, paint, and redecorate. Then a year or two goes by..(if you're lucky) and suddenly your gray house is so outdated? If you're thinking to yourself, YEP 🙋♀️. Well, you're not alone. Let's do something fun together, shall we? Let's ditch the trends and make our house a home? It's us and our families that live there anyway, right? In today's episode, I will share with you my TOP 10 tips to make a house a home. We will talk about ditching the trends and creating a home that shows our unique personality. Focus on lighting, lamps, and cozy touches. Filling your home with non-toxic scents that you can customize and mix up yourself, DIY linen spray. Adding texture and layers, have some fun with your decor! Ditching the clutter, keep what you love and what makes you happy, and out with the rest. Adding artwork, family photos, and things that you love. The quirky the better, you make the rules, remember? 😉 Plants, I am a crazy plant lady for sure. A plant packs a punch, warms up a home, and even cleans the air. They can be purchased inexpensively, and you can have a lot of fun with the pots. Last but not least, comfortable blankets and pillows. Let's make our home so cozy that we can't resist a good nap.
