Welcome to Episode Thirty Three (Season Two) of the Executive Career Jump Podcast with your host, Andrew MacAskill!

Today my guest is Ben RainforthGott. Ben is an experienced Human Resources Director with over 20 years ‘in the trenches’ on both sides of the table and across the globe. He is described as an ‘agitator’ in HR because of his progressive approach to how employees should be viewed and treated in the new world of work. Like many people, Ben found himself in recent months considering ‘contract’ and ‘interim’ HR roles and consultancy and having to adapt his own skills to win this work.

Listen to Ben share his unique view on how you can best present yourself to potential employers to get hired and how the most successful companies are ripping up the rule book in order to attract and retain the very best candidates.

You will learn:

  • Why HR often gets a bad reputation and why that is often fully deserved
  • How the most successful HR leaders are adapting to the new world of work
  • What we all need to do to put the ‘HUMAN’ back into Human Resources
  • The pitfalls you need to avoid to get hired by the best companies
