Dr. Arnold sheds light on the fact that many pediatric patients are initially seen in adult emergency rooms that often do not have the proper training and equipment to properly treat children, often resulting in subpar outcomes for patients and unnecessary costs for hospitals. Dr. Arnold's company provides clinical simulations for the physicians and ER staff for common pediatric emergency cases, recommendations for pediatric equipment, and training for when and how to best transfer pediatric patients needing higher level care. Dr. Arnold also discusses the value she has found with her MBA and provides advice for networking.
