Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Ready for the latest scoop on the waves? Here's your surf zone forecast for the West Coast brought to you by the National Weather Service. So, grab your boards and get ready to ride those swells!
Starting off with Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, today we've got a moderate rip current risk, with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. Water temps are looking good at 62 to 68 degrees. Tomorrow, the rip current risk amps up to high and the surf height increases to 3 to 5 feet. So, keep an eye out for those mixed west and south swells!
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, similar conditions with moderate rip currents today and tomorrow, surf heights of 2 to 4 feet, and water temps of 61 to 67 degrees. Don't forget your sunscreen! Mixed south and west swells are on the menu.
Santa Barbara County Southwestern and Southeastern Coasts are seeing a low rip current risk today, with surf heights of 1 to 3 feet. Tomorrow, that risk goes up to high with surf heights of 3 to 5 feet and a classic west swell in the mix. Keep your eyes peeled for those waves, folks!
Lastly, at San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, surf heights today are 3 to 5 feet with water temps of 56 to 62 degrees. Tomorrow, get ready for bigger waves at 5 to 8 feet, so hang ten and enjoy those mixed west and south swells rolling in.
Remember to stay safe out there and keep an eye on those tides. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
