Are You Waiting For Mortality Motivation To Strike?

In this week's episode and part 4 of the Meditation Mini-Series, we explore a theory I have called 'Mortality Motivation'. Having worked in the personal development and coaching industry for over 8 years, I have noticed a common theme when it comes to us humans feeling motivated to make positive change... it often comes from a place of fear, and for some near mortality of some sort.
It could be a diagnosis, a near death experience, even a redundancy scare or potential loss can catapult us into a whirlwind of 'what if's' and shake us to our core and make us (finally) reassess life as we know it.
But my question is WHY WAIT? Why wait until the fear or pain strikes (I call them 'de-fib moments' to kick start us into making positive changes in our life?
What if we were to be driven by prevention rather than cure?
I share my own experience of mortality motivation and how that's led me to be sharing this with you now, and the career I am in.
