With Presidents' Day coming up, we're taking a looking at the history of the holiday as well as seven of our presidents who all had Midwestern roots or ties. This is the first of a two-part series because there were several presidents hailing from our Midwestern states. We consider some of the bigger issues they tackled during their presidencies, and we also learn some interesting facts that we didn't know before.
