In this episode, I am joined by my fiance Alan to discuss what it is like to integrate into a family as a step-parent.
We cover what it's like to suddenly find yourself with kids you never planned to have, some of the stigma and public reaction to dating a single mum, how coming from a blended family helped Alan become the step-dad he is today, and why we need to start unraveling some of the myths around what it's like to date a parent. We also talk about the foundations of our family and ones like it that are not built on biology or material necessity.
