For the first time the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) and the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) combined their respective annual conferences to present the 48th Annual ICAAC and the 46th Annual IDSA Meeting held in Washington, DC on October 25-28, 2008. As the Johns Hopkins Point-of-Care Information Technology Center, who manage the ABX and HIV guides, strives to provide the most current information for their registrants, this program highlights the most relevant information in antibiotics and vaccines as presented at the ICAAC/IDSA Annual Meeting.
