In this special episode of "Living in Santa Barbara," we have the honor of introducing Wade Cowper, a man who along with his wife Paula have dedicated their time and efforts to community and took action to help others in Santa Barbara.
Wade, a fourth-generation Santa Barbarian, has a successful history of working in public relations and political consulting, where his efforts have always focused on benefiting the community. His deep roots in Santa Barbara and his professional experience have uniquely positioned him to create events that bring people together for a greater cause.
Wade's latest endeavor, the Waula Festival, which he started with his wife Paula Phan, exemplifies his dedication to community and altruism. Recently held for the second year, this music festival was more than just a celebration of music and local culture; it also served as a significant fundraiser for Sarah House, a hospice facility providing compassionate end-of-life care to those in need.
Join us as we explore Wade's journey, from his early days in Santa Barbara, to his career in public relations and the courageous decision to create the Waula Festival. We’ll discuss how his sense of community and drive to make a difference have shaped his life and work, and how the Waula Festival has become a significant fuort for Sarah House.
And don’t forget to like, follow, share the show if you enjoyed this episode! Also if you would like to know more about Santa Barbara, please feel free to give me a call.
Thank you.
