Lieutenant Scott Tillema is an FBI trained hostage negotiator and trainer whose popular TED Talk has amassed nearly 1.2M views. What made his appearance on the TEDx stage so memorable was his decision to tell the audience about an unsuccessful negotiation that resulted in the loss of life.
