Question of the week. [37:00]
Since it’s summer, you really want to let your inner child run loose a little bit and have some fun. If you were to design an entire day of inner child fun, what would it look like? For Sonia C, she'd be ecstatic to spend the day reading some of her favorite books and taking a long relaxing walk in the park. For Sonia T., she recently taught a university class about imagination and the importance of play. Our inner child needs to have a bit of purposeless fun from time to time.
We can get so strict with our days and our agendas that we forget to stop and smell the roses. Sonia C. was out exploring for four hours with nothing on the clock and she loved every minute of it. The same is true with Sonia T.. We get so hyper-focused on the end result that we forget to actually enjoy the journey and the process in the meantime.
Tool of the Week: Whenever you’re faced with an intense situation, bring in some humor or lightheartedness into the situation and see how it shifts the dynamic and energy in the room.
Question of the Week: How can I connect with my spirit through prayer?
