Tobias Rose: Artistic Visionary and Community Advocate**
Tobias Rose is a dynamic creative force who discovered his gift for art early in life, though he could never have predicted the profound impact it would have on his journey. Rooted in a deep love for art and hip-hop, Tobias co-founded *The Praktis* with school friends, a platform that allowed them to showcase their artistic talents. This passion eventually led to the creation of *Kompleks Creative Agency*, where his work can be seen in some of Durham’s most historic sites, including Duke Campus.
Tobias’s commitment to community and honoring Durham’s legacy is evident in his role in establishing the non-profit *Black Wall Street*. Inspired by his grandfather’s contributions during this pivotal era for Black business owners, Tobias plays an instrumental role in bringing people together and preserving the memories of his father and the community. His dedication to Durham's growth and heritage has also led him to serve as the board chair of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce.
