Chris Wark is an 18 plus year stage IIIc Colon Cancer Thriver, patient advocate, best-selling author and speaker. After surgery, he opted out of chemotherapy and found hope in using nutrition and natural therapies to heal. Chris shares his story to empower and inspire others to think about health differently through his popular blog, chrisbeatcancer.com where research, expert interviews and survivor stories are available to all.
Suzy Griswold is a 13 plus year Thyroid Cancer Thriver, and the Founder and President of HealingStrong. Suzy took a natural approach to healing and when she learned of other survivors, a true grassroots movement began. HealingStrong empowers, inspires and equips group participants and members to live more whole and hope filled lives through small community groups worldwide.
In this episode, Chris and Suzy reflect on years past, HealingStrong's first conference, their friendship, their shared common mission, and how HealingStrong as an organization stands out above other support group communities.
