NfL — neurofilament light, from the blood, not the CSF. Is it a reliable indicator of MS activity, a predictor of relapse-related disability, and a monitor of treatment efficacy? OCT — optical coherence tomography. Fast, safe, reliable, and repeatable, it can reveal the cellular layers inside the retina.
