Job boards give you the illusion that there are more job opportunities than actually exist. If you hop on LinkedIn or a remote job board you'll find hundreds and sometimes thousands of job listings depending on the role you're looking for.

The problem is that about 50% of them are "ghost listings", meaning the role isn't real.

And of the job listings that are real, each posting will get hundreds of applicants.

With so many candidates applying for so few actual positions, how do you stand out from the crowd? Unfortunately, the answer is not a numbers game. Sending hundreds of applications each week will not increase your odds of getting hired. You're just adding more noise and wasting your time.

In this episode Marisa explains how to dramatically increase your response rate and get to the interview stage.

She explains exactly how to increase quality over quantity to maximize your chances of landing the job.

And if you are looking for help understanding which direction you should go with your career so that you can work remote as a digital nomad, Marisa is hosting a career clarity workshop.
