Instead, my buddy, John, joined my Dad and I as we navigated the wrong side of San Francisco Bay, got lost in Reno, and traversed the 'Loneliest Road in America' on US Route 50.
This unforgettable journey wasn't just about the road, it was about the laughter, stories, and camaraderie we shared across the country through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. Whether it was dealing with a twenty-year-old car gasping up the mountains or driving across the flat land of Kansas in the summer heat, every moment was a shared experience. The trip wasn't about reaching Cincinnati quickly, it was about the journey, the shared experiences, and the lasting memories that I still cherish today.
