A self-proclaimed "fitness nerd" since 2008, Griffin has explored nearly every corner of the fitness world to some capacity but found himself with chronic back pain, consistently low endurance, and an anxious relationship to exercise. It wasn't until he opened his path of exploration to breath science, biomechanics, and the nervous system that he realized how connected the mind and body are in health, happiness, and performance. In this episode, Griffin Coombs and Alex Corey explore the fundamental aspects of the nervous system that led to Alex's major burnout in 2024 that led him back to breathing when no other health metric was moving the dial on consistent lethargy, lack of energy, and poor sleep.
