S3EP13: Comics & Pop-tarts Presents - Jean Paul Deshong (Blackberry Juice Publishing)
Manage episode 336655295 series 3280539
Tonight I'm so excited to have discovered a like-minded connoisseur of Japanese culture, history, and anime who shares in my passion for the comic and pop-culture medium. We go into depth on topics like content appropriation for children and how parents can best determine what content is right for their kids. We swap views on character tropes and studies using Joker and Thanos as an example. Finally, we discuss Jean's book Sonso: Sons of Fate, and his inspiration for writing this story above all others. We talk so much that this episode is a longer-than-normal tarty-kind-of-party, so strap up kids. It's about to get fun! Welcome to the tart cave!
