Did you know that gathering motivation is the WORST way to build a new healthy habit?
It doesn’t matter how many times you like a video on Instagram or how many vision ideas you add to your Pinterest board, motivation alone will fail us if we are waiting to catch the wave into action.
It’s because motivation is just another name for intentions. It is great to have good motivations for WHY we do what we do. But DOING the thing, over and over again, getting better and better at it, doesn’t come from motivation. It comes from taking action.
In today’s episode, I talk about how motivation is the most common hurdle I see when people decide they want to go after bigger goals in their health.
