Ashley Feraude in conversation with Melanie Gibbons who heads up Elms Communications, an agency specialising in complex and strategic government comms.
Melanie has been in love with comms since she started her degree at the University of Canberra and, during her career across the public service, has grown a specific skillset that allows her to understand and unlock challenging issues through a detailed knowledge of audience behaviour and the media/political environment.
Mel's passion for comms has also meant that she taught her dog how to communicate in English using push-button words. Yes, he pushes ‘play’ all the time.
