I was so happy to have Casey Baker and Mike DaSilva come by this week. They’re too local legends here in Niagara. They played in Sleeper Set Sail back in the early 2000’s, grew up and apart for a bit, then rekindled their friendship over music once again. Mike has been working away behind the scenes since as a producer and recording engineer. While Casey has been focusing on being a dad and raising a family until recently where he’s gotten back into the music scene under his new moniker the “Neon Cowboy”. Together they’ve been working as The Particle Sound, a record label where they help propel talented local musicians. We had lots to chat about. Banana dogs, what it feels like to have battery acid in your eye, and playing for the ninja turtles in NYC.
